BACCUS6MM STANDS OUT
FROM THE CROWD:
Baccus specialises in the design and production of wargames figures and accessories in the 6mm scale. Although it is often overlooked by the dominance of the 15 and 28mm scales, the smaller figures offer huge advantages in terms of flexibility, prices and ease of painting. It often comes as a pleasant surprise to our new customers that they find 6mm figures easier and quicker to paint than their coarser-scale brethren.
Baccus is also the publisher of the complete set of Polemos Rules.

The Polemos project sets out to create a series of rules sharing a basic structure, yet that are carefully tailored for specific historical periods. You do not wish to fight an American Civil War battle and be forced to use concepts designed for the English Civil War, and we don't want to produce bland mechanics devoid of any period flavour or distinction.
Linked to this worthy ideal is that we have also set out to produce a set of mechanics and basing principles that have been designed from the outset for 6mm figures. They give impressive games with lots of figures on the table, even for the very smallest scenarios and armies. Those of you with larger scale figures will of course be able to enjoy games using Polemos, but must accept the subsequent loss in visual appearance and impact.
